As an Airport Security Officer: Part Time Saturday/Sunday in Kahului, HI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Pay Rate: $26.50 / Hour

 

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSat01:30 PM - 10:00 PMSun01:30 PM - 10:00 PM

Requirements: 

• Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
• 18+ years of age

• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently

• Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
• Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office

 

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, airport personnel, and government stakeholders while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminal areas, parking facilities, perimeter locations, access points, and other assigned airport property.
• Monitor for unusual activity, hazards, and security-related concerns, and promptly document and report observations through established channels.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate airport personnel and public agencies as directed.
• Assist with access-control procedures, credential checks, and traffic or pedestrian direction at assigned locations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Be able to lift more than 20 pounds, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
